Two rare, framed photos of Ken Block’s legendary HOONICORN Mustang—personally signed by the late motorsports icon—are headed to auction in support of the Block family’s upcoming Celebration of Life event at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Proceeds will also benefit the 43 Institute, a nonprofit founded in Block’s memory to support ambitious youth in action sports, racing, and creative industries.
The limited-edition prints are part of a set titled L.A. HOONICORN—just 150 were produced. These specific prints (Set #51) were originally gifted by Ken Block to his mother, Geraldine, in 2015. They hung in the family’s home until 2018, when Geraldine passed them down to Ken’s sister, Donna Block, who is now putting them up for sale.
The seven-day eBay auction kicks off on Sunday, May 25 and closes on Sunday, June 1. Each framed photo will be sold in a separate listing and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from HOONIGAN, as well as custom HOONIGAN-themed matting and design. The images, captured by photographer Tony Harmer, show the iconic 1965 Ford Mustang HOONICORN in all its tire-shredding glory—including the front ¾ view and a dramatic side profile, filmed during the viral Gymkhana 7 shoot on the streets of Los Angeles.
These signed photos offer a one-of-a-kind connection to Block’s groundbreaking influence in automotive culture. Best known for his Gymkhana video series, Block took the world by storm with precision driving stunts that earned millions of views and brought a new generation into motorsports. From rally stages and X Games podiums to co-founding DC Shoes and HOONIGAN, his impact is still felt across the automotive world.
Donna Block shared her gratitude to fans and supporters:
“The outpouring of kindness has been truly overwhelming. It means so much that, with your help, my family and I will be able to honor my brother’s legacy in such a meaningful way—surrounded by the cars he loved.”
Each framed photo is in excellent condition. The front ¾ view frame measures 27⅜ x 20⅜ inches, while the side profile frame is 26⅜ x 20⅜ inches; both prints inside are 24×18 inches.
