I'm looking for a decent living qtrs. trailer to race out of. Thought I had 1 bought but after the Delaware seller accepted my "full boat offer" he sold it out from under me. But I digress, I seek a well equipped (shower, toilet, sink, stove , fridge, AC, queen bed etc) preferably with a generator. 38-42 ft with min 17 ft garage. My biggest issue has been finding one with a 5th wheel set up or one that is tapered in front so I can safely maneuver it with a short bed diesel. (I've found no legit/safe means to pull a gooseneck as I've found no sliding style gooseneck hitches and extenders DO NOT solve the problem) Hoping to get into something in the 12,000 to 18,000 range. Any input or leads appreciated.
Thanks

What kind of hitch mount do you have? If you have the rail type hitch for an RV you can buy a gooseneck plate. You can also change the hitch on the trailer to a 5th wheel. They do make extended 5th wheel hitches for short bed trucks.

I've not purchased a mount yet, I had a high end auto sliding hitch located I intended to purchase for the trailer I thought I was buying, at least I didn't spend that cash before the trailer I had lined up fell through. So you're saying I can put a goose neck mount on a 5th wheel trailer? What companies should I look at? That would open up a lot of possibilities. I've been looking for months
