I ran a low buck 406 for a while, with 5.7 rods, but broke a rod bolt because i had stock bolts, never again i'd definately put some good rod bolts in it. The TRW pistons are heavy, heavy, heavy. 7200 if'ie maybe 6600 and be sure to sonic test the block before boring it.

Mark those pistons prob wont work with a 3.75 stroke you would have to use 5.56 rods and hope you have enouph piston to crank clearance. Just saying might not b a good way to go and i dont like short rod like that just my opinion!
