Shouldnt have any clearance issues. I'll also add the 420-116 is the favorite cam by myself and many engine shops. It seems to make the best all around power HP/TRQ wise.

Default Cam

Thanks for you input.
I will call Reher Morrison tomorrow. I would have gotten the same cam which was made by Bullet Cams.. but looking at it ..no way.. the lobes have strange "chips" and strange 'pok" marks on the lobes. One lobe had a 030 by 1/8th chip out of the lobe..hence why my motor is in pcs at my engine guy.. and i missed 1st day of points!!

Thanks Again

I run the 420-117 in one of my 582s. I wish I had run the 420-116. The 420-117 made great steam up top but it was a turd down low. The car would 60 foot 1.09-1.11. It was 4.80 and 7.60 ET wise. In the heat it slowed up to high 80's and high 60's. I will say that the car was stuck. Whatever it ran 1st hit of the day is what it ran the whole day.
