Default hardened stator

I was reading et7333's post on broken glide. Got me to thinking,oh boy. There are some tranny builders that are still using the factory pumps in the glide's but they are changing out the stators as well as other components. Is this because of the vehicle weight. I run FED'S, so weight is not a factor and I usually set up my own tranny. Currenyly building a spare & depending on the benefits, I might also change the stator support. Anybody. Kris

Yes its mild steel with A arm and 4 link. All steel and real glass. Windows all work and has full interior.
