Maybe a caliper is sticking after it heats up and then free's up when it cools?

I had a caliper stick on me at 175 not a good thing, be safe and get it fixed before racing again.

The puck is not retracting as it should, thus dragging the pads and heating up the whole assembly. Disassemble, hone, and replace the puck ring. Pull the caliper, place a piece of 1 X 4 in between the puck/s and gently apply air pressure into the brake line fitting. POP ! and the puck/s are out ! Make sure you have no little appendages in there !! I got rudely awakened one time *@#%&*** ops: ops: ops: ops: :x

Another problem you may have is that in the master cylinder the hole that allows fluid back into the res. may be too small.. The very first time we ran our dragster down the track the brakes would not release and were dragging... After the 1st full pass we made we could not push or move the car even with a golf cart... We released the line pressure with the bleeder screw and then in our pit spot figured out that the master cylinder was causing us some problems.. took it a part and drilled the hole out larger size and they have worked flawlessly ever since
