Default Right tire smokes more on Burnout

I have a back halved ladder bar 79 camaro w/ 14-32's w/ spool and I watched the video and on both burnouts recorded I noticed that the right rear smokes almost immediately and the left smokes a little. What's up:?:

Sounds like it's preloading the right rear a little harder than the left rear atleast in the beginning.

Could it be from too much spring preload on the right rear? The car leans to the right, I think it's called negative preload, I put more preload in the right spring to help with the twist and squat, should I have tuned by adjusting shock?

Could very well be that, if you have adjustables on the front, take a little out of the left front, if not go back to where you were and see if you take a little out of the left rear to get it more level. You can also level the car with a ladder bar adjustment, but that's tricky if the ladder bars are set equal. You could pull the one front heim joint and make sure the bolt slides thru the heim by hand, that will tell you if they are out of adjustment. I had a friend who's name i won't mention tried to change the pinion angle because he went to smaller dia. tires and and when he took it off the jack the right side was 3" different than the left side in height. He took it to the track and one of our friends who's pretty good with suspension took about 15 min. and releveled the rear end with the ladder bar adjustment and the car left strait and hooked better than ever.

I was told not to mess with the ladder bar (preload) if it left strait, This car used to be a 8 second 1/4 mile car now I run 10.30's. I'm thinking it was setup for the high HP?

Wow!! small world, identical situation, the 66 Biscayne, this car was bought out of Tx. as a roller certified to 8.50, it ran 8.60's had 14X32's he went to 30.5 Hooser DOT street slicks. I built the pump gas 468" motor, it now runs 6.50's and [email protected] 127. We stop at Shell and fill up the fuel cell and tow vehicle then go racing.
I'm not suggesting you mess with the preload on the traction bars unless you really know what to do. My friend did not, so that why he had to get our other friend to re-adjust at the track.

Do you happen to have an anti-roll bar installed?
Have you had the car scaled?

No anti roll bar, I have not scaled it.

One question I also have is the pinion angle, On a ladder bar car shouldn't the rear end point down 1-2 degrees in relation to the drive shaft. Mine is pointing up 1 degree.
