Default 1 or 2 concealed carry would have minimized this........

Also, why didn't a couple of people follow him up the aisle and tackle him ? It's cuz Americans have been deballed and passivised into NOT reacting AGRESSIVELY.....

Hmmm, Gonna take more than Balls to charge a guy who's standing in front of the screen and shooting people less than 15 feet away with an AR 15 with hi-cap magazines. Granted if someone had been there with a handgun, and been really, really good with it, they might have cut down the number of killed and wounded.

But if you're armed with a .40 or .45, and the guy's wearing body armor, he's got a rifle, and you have a pistol, you're probably gonna end up as one of the dead. You'll just have more bullet holes in you than the rest . . On the other hand, if you had a gun and could have gotten to the back of the theatre and flattened out, then a couple of accurate shots would have changed the game.

One things for sure. The disarming of America will see a lot more of this . .

But if 20 people started unloading on him with their concealed handguns i bet he woulda at least fell over and dropped his rifle

This is a very sad thing.Very sad. Crazies like this are the reason people hate guns, but at the same time, everyone say " too bad someone wasn't carrying to stop him"...Americans are nuts. But I'm still proud to be one!

RK, you are right. None of us were there and cannot sit in judgement of those who were. I am guilty as charged. EZ to armchair a scenario as devastating as this as I'm ANGRY at how much we have degenerated as men. The ability to react quickly and aggressively is being bred out of our society. Tear gas was tossed thus adding a complete new dimension to the ability to react. Any one with a handgun would have had to get right up on him stick his muzzle in the guys armpit and start squeezin' off as many as possible.

i believe in open carry. if a man knew and saw all the guns on guys hips.might just make him change his mind about walking in a place where people have guns strapped on them, in plain sight.

#1 - he was walking up the aisle and not stationary
#2 - a 40 - 45 cal round hitting you even in armor will knock you off balance. Getting hit with multiple rounds in rapid sequence will knock you DOWN giving folks or you the shooter time to pile on him.
