I don't know what you wanted someone to "DO ABOUT IT" , the other party is out the same money as you , nobody got scammed , the other party didn't like the deal , ,, so he lied , so what..(not a crime) .if he had sent something to you that you didn't like , you would not have traded either , and nobody else would have either.. if you didn't want someones opinion then why did you come on a forum ,,thats what a forum is , everybodys opinion , whether they side with you or not , its an opinion,,,sorry you didn't get what you were looking for on here ,,,,,Paul

Around 60 sells/trades total in the last year and a half. Most of them shipped. All satisfied. I guess you could call it luck, but i would like to think it was because of honesty on both parties.
Your right we're both out of the same amount of money. But if this guy was honest, he would have my Bird I would have the Bucket, for the $350.00. But because of his lies Im out of $350.00 for nothing. Im sorry, but that pisses me off.
Hey guys look at the bold in this statement. IMO i think that he was hoping to get a better car than what he was trying to trade with and it fell thru. Like I siad this is IMO.
Darrell:

We havent heard his side of the story- you are doing all the talking.

And because he hasnt come on here does not make him a bad guy. Maybe you said something that he feels is a lie- but we will never know unless he makes a statement. Perhaps he is "taking the high road on this" as they say.

Bottom line is that if your Bird got there and he felt you misrepresented it, what should he do? Maybe he did just what he should have- split the transit cost.

The fact that he paid half should tell you he's not a thief- else he would have paid none.

You really dont need any advice from this forum- if you feel you were wronged litigate- thats pretty simple.

I just think you really wanted that T - badly and you're disappointed. Thats certainly understandable.

BTW- why does everyone bring up Ebay? They are quite an organization- they force you to use their online pay sevrice for most transactions, dont allow you to leave feedback for buyers and rarely get involved when youve been scammed. If it matters I had over 200 transactions as a Silver Seller, before I termed my account and told them and paypal to shove it.

You are on RJ not Epay- you will NEVER get any help from them- but you will get a form letter from someone named Simon at some point.

BYW- Dirka and Lively are entitled to their opinions- if you dont want to hear them then dont make a post. These guys and others spend their free time trying to help people sort things out- when you give of your time like they do, then you have earned some right to criticize- else say thank you and politely disagree.

WTF Man I tried to close this topic and you guys want to keep it going with your BS. Do you like the drama that much? Its obvious you dont get the point. You have a guy that refuses to come on here and give some answers. I prooved he lied in emails posted. And you want make me look like the bad guy with your stupid comments, "OH YOU JUST WANTED THE T BUCKET AND YOUR JUST DISAPPOINTED", "I SENT A CAR THAT WAS MISREPRSENTED", "SO WHAT JOHN LIED".

Im sure you looked at my profile. If I wanted a F****** T bucket that bad I'd go buy it. I CAN AFFORD IT.

There was no misreprentation on my end at all

A liar is not alright in my book.

ITS THE $350.00 JOHNS LIES COST ME!!!!!!!!

Now if someone will tell me how to close or delete this whole thread, i will gladly do it.

The reason I use ebay and other sites is because in a year of being a member on RJ I've traded one car. I guess the old say of NO FREE RIDES applies, even though I pay on here to

PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO DELETE/CLOSE THIS THREAD BEFORE I GET KICKED OFF HERE ALL TOGETHER

I search the net for this competion and couldnt find anything about it.Talk with him at least half a dozen times on the phone and emailed at least ten times.I finally decide to trade but then everytime I get the shipping company scheduled to pick it up John cant be reached. Then finally we get something together and I ship my car to him on 11/24/09. The driver lives in my area and we have become pretty good friends.(He looks out for me on trades) When he gets there with my car,and before unloading it, he ask John if he could inspect the T Bucket. John then procedes to tell him that there was water in the oil and he just discovered it the day before 11/23/09.He didnt bother to call or email me about it.My car didnt leave until 11/24/09 6:00 AM. Maybe John was hoping for a drop off and pick up and go.Lucky for me, it didnt work that way
Howerver it cost me $350.00 to send my car from Milton WV to Sandusky Ohio. And then another $350.00 to get it back.John I really hope you respond to this. I want my $700.00 back .I really think you have lied the whole time. I dont know what your trying to pull, but I will not leave this one alone. I know exactly where you live, and its not that far from me. And for $700.00 I will make the drive.Get the point!!!!

just keeping in case the T BUCKET GUY COMES HERE 8) 8) 8)

Again the best thing to do is close this thread before it gets out of hand. But thats probably your goal.

this whole situation is why I hitch the trailer to the truck & check things out myself. I come back with an empty trailer most of the time. only the guy with the t-bucket knows why he backed out of the deal. but him giving two different reasons for sending the car back (blown engine in theT & the trade wasn't as good as he thought it would be) witch one is the truth. john not coming on here and explaining his side of the story leads me to belive he has something to hide.an honest man would not fear telling his side of the story. I would bet he is one of those watching with his status hidden. jmo
