Default HOOD FROM HELL

I purchase one of there products from them years ago and it was terrible. It was a hood and on side was about 1 1/2 inches of at the back of the hood and on the other side it was about 2 1/4 off (if I remember correctly) the middle of the hood was sunk in like the laid it down on the floor before the mold set. I run a supercharger and the hood was sunk in so bad that the hood wouldn't close. It was so bad the I couldn't use it at all. Plus the conners of the hood was sitting at about a 90 degree angle up in the air. I contacted troy and of course we went round n round about it but in the end I just gave it away and took it as a bought lesson. THe guy I gave it to tried it and gave it away also (ha ha) I've seen the it recently and i walk up to the guy and "said that my old hood," he said no i got this form a buddy of mine". he told me his name and that was the third owner so that made him the forth. I told him about all the problems the hood had and he started laughing and said yeah this it I had to cut it in the formt and reshape the whole thing and I still can't get if straight. He asked how you knew that this was my old hood I told him to look at the cowl its sunk in about 2 inches lower that a normal hood . I have several friends that race with me and after that we decide to do a group order to harwood. It's sad to say but no one in this area uses their product. ( THat I NO OF)
just my encounter!!!!!!!! harwood and VFN etc. they've been aound for a long time
p.s. I'm form LA.

Here's my ordeal with Bruis. Note, the topic heading has been changed. I felt the new name was appropriate

Lawyer, Sue your customers? lmao, you can't just chit in cakes you bake and sale, then expect everyone to just live with it.
Sad gamble for us is with the sort of buisness ethnics Troy has He isn't worth a class action law suit. I could care less for some swamp land.
I've been in buisness for 15 years and to my knowledge have never had a wrongful buisness complaint filed against me.
Sure, there are some people who can not be satisfied. I happen not to be one of those. A fair shake! That's It

Do all the searches you want, it doesn't bother me, it's your time do with it what you will. I have never publicly slammed, belittled, or degraded you in any way, we are above that.I again challenge you, show me with a marker where it's warped, twisted or whatever. We looked at the mold again tonight and it's not twisted, warped or anything like you make it out to be. I hope that one of my competitors will make you happy and you can get along with your life. We again wish you well and a continued success in your racing endeavors. Oh yeah, I am sending you a Christmas present it should arrive in the mail by Christmas, I sat back and thought of the one gift that I could get you that you could really use, I hope you enjoy it and you learn something from it.
Mr. Parrish you are going to do whatever you can to hurt my business reputation, of this I am sure. In life you will find that what comes around goes around, karma is the cruelest evil of all. We do alot for drag racers families that have lost their lives in pursuit of this sport. We donate bodies(Jr. Dragster) to several different groups that help give underpriveleged children the opportunity to experience the thrill of racing as long as they keep their grades up in school and stay out of trouble. We help young racers out and help them get started in this sport by donating some fiberglass parts. We are good people trying hard to make it in this business and I'm sure that overcoming the BS that you have stirred up is going to take a while but it will be overcome, like I said before alot of the people that know you personally have told me that you are an a$$ and they'd have never done what we done for you. I defended you to them and told them that I felt that you're just disgruntled and it'll pass and they insist that you're just a prick and that's how you are. I disagree with them, I believe that you're basically a good person that is just unhappy with what you've recieved from us, we've gone as far as we're going to go with this. If you ever need some help give us a call and I'll do what I can for you. I, nor our business is a "joke" but your opinion is your opinion (BTW, you spell opinion -- o-p-i-n-i-o-n NOT onion) reading your email gives me a headache, you need to learn how to spell. I can forgive and understand grammatical errors, heck everybody does that, but your spelling needs some help. We will go on and continue to be successful in this business and hopefully our paths will cross someday and I can look you in the eye and shake your hand and tell you congratulations in person on your drag racing achievements. We wish you well and continued success.

Default Bruis Glassworks

Doing business with Bruis Glassworks has been an experience. The contact person Troy, was very eager to please and quite a likeable guy. However, when it comes to actually receiving merchandise from this company, Troy has avoided phone calls, refused to call back after numerous attempts to contact him or someone else in the company. I checked with the Better Business Bureau (after the fact) and was shocked to discover that Bruis Glassworks has 5 unresolved complaints. Four of the five complaints are the exact same issue that I have experienced with Bruis. When I was able to actually speak to Troy, I asked about the record with the BBB, his statement to me was that these issues HAD been resolved with the customers in question, however he did not have the time to make the BBB aware of the now satisfied customers. As a company, I can not in good conscious recommend Bruis Glassworks to any of our customers, due to the experience we have had. Bruis Glassworks has had our order since October of 2006. The company has also had our money since then as well. Part of what we ordered finally arrived in late Feb. 2007- we are still missing parts. Mr. Bruis Glassworks (Troy) has personally assured me (when I was able to actually speak to him after dozens of attempts) that the parts I need are going to be shipped out the following day. It is now the middle of Aug. 2007- Bruis Glassworks has had our money almost a year, we still do not have the total order. I will say in the defense of Bruis Glassworks, that the product we have received thus far, has been extremely satisfactory, based solely on the product, I would love to recommend this company to our clients...nevertheless, the company has yet to follow through, therefore, We cannot support this type of business practice.
