For Sale; A 1973 Chevrolet Corvette drag car. This car started life as a factory roadster and was obviously turned into a drag car and has been sitting for years. The body has a bunch of Ecklers wide body fiberglass installed. It has an Ecklers MONZA style front nose with fixed style headlamps. There are Greenwood style flares and 6 taillight rear clip.
This is a back half chassis with a braced 9" Ford housing, Koni rear shocks, panhard bar, Moser 33 spline axles, and Chassis Engineering ladder bars. The center chunk has a spool and a 5.47 series ring/pinion. Wheels are Centerline Auto drag front/rear, The car has a Mild steel cage installed and all chassis work show good welds and fabrication. 8.50 certification should be easy. Car also has a fuel cell, removeable steering wheel, gauges and a moroso switch panel and a Kirkey aluminum seat. Frame is clean as a pin and the car includes a pair of Hooker Super Comp BBC headers, driveshaft for powerglide/TH 350, radiator/fan and replacement door panels. This is a project car with good bones. The chassis work alone would set you back at least 10K. Priced to sell at 4995.00. Car is sold with a bill of sale from GA and has a VIN#.
