Hello Racing Friends,
The cost of fuel is making our hobby difficult, both in terms of getting to events and also transporting vehicles. Consequently, we have decided to reduce the asking price for our 510 in the interest of finding it a good new home in time for the new owner to have some fun with it on track this Spring and Summer. Part 2:
CHASSIS AND BRAKES:
The front has Koni adjustable shocks with DP Racing adjustable struts and RallyeSport adjustable top plates, and Eibach
springs.
The rear suspension has adjustable pivot points, with QA-1 adjustable shocks and Eibach springs.
Front brakes are Wilwood calipers with DP Racing ventilated rotors and adapters. Rear brakes are Nissan 240SX calipers
and rotors. Hawk pads are used on both ends.
The differential is 4.10 ratio with a Fuji limited slip.
MISCELLANEOUS:
OBP pedal assembly with Tilton master cylinders.
Quick release steering wheel.
ATL 10 gallon fuel cell new in 2024.
MSD ignition with Pertronix trigger.
Full fire suppression system.
Wiring, box, and antenna for radio.

New driver restraint belts January 2026.

Here is part one of more detailed information, with more to follow:
BODY:
The body has never been bent, rusted or damaged in any way, and the paint is show quality. The glass windshield has no
chips or cracks. Rear quarter windows and rear window are acrylic.
The hood, rear deck and front fenders are fiberglass, and the rear fenders have fiberglass flares.
ENGINE:
The L16 engine was built by Top Tech Motorsports in 2024, and has dyno time plus four race weekends on it. It has JE
pistons, Carrillo rods with coated bearings, .595 lift Isky cam with Isky springs and followers. Compression is 13.0:1, and
it runs on 110 octane leaded fuel. It has a Nissan Comp race oil pump and DP Racing oil pan. Even in 40 degree weather
it starts instantly and idles perfectly. There are no leaks or drips from the engine, transmission or rear end.
EXTERNALS:
Carburetion is Weber DCOE 45 with 40mm chokes, on a rare old stock Nissan Comp manifold. Exhaust is via a Nissan
Comp header and Borla muffler located at the rear. It has an aluminum radiator, CM oil filter, and Seltrab oil cooler.
TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH:
The transmission is a 280ZX five-speed, modified by Houseman Autosport with close ratio gears. The clutch is a 5.5 inch
twin disc, on a DP Racing aluminum flywheel.

This Datsun 510 was built by Rallye Sport, Colorado for the 2011 season based on a rust-free and crash-free California car. It was raced with various Vintage sanctioning bodies by two owners. We bought it in 2021. It is compliant with SCCA Vintage F-Production and B-Sedan rules, and it will be welcome in any vintage racing organization. New belts/SCCA Annual inspection 3/26.
