Lola T332 F5000;
In the 1970s Formula 5000 was a professional open wheel road racing series.
Engine displacement was limited to 5 liter (5000cc) with the Chevrolet 302 Z/28 engine being the most popular.
These cars raced on ROAD COURSES in North America with parallel series in Europe and Australia/NZ.
Several constructors built F5000 cars but without doubt the most successful was the type T332 from
Lola Cars Ltd of Huntingdon Cambridgeshire England. This is one of 36 built from 1974-76.
This car was constructed in the summer of 1974 and was raced in the Sports Car Club of America’s professional
Formula 5000 series by Indy driver Jerry Karl for car owner James LaBar.
