1966 Mustang Coupe roller. History: Originally purchased at Gotham Ford 42nd Street Manhattan by the New York Times as a Press Car. Brought to California by the Editors son and then sold to a used car lot and purchased by a woman and taken to Oregon. She had her wedding photos with it, eventually having kids and needed something bigger. Car made its way to Virigina and was caged / raced. Unkown history. Bought by a friend in New Jersey and kept for 10 years. I bought from him and have had it for 12 years. Car was originally Emberglow and was changed to white most likely when it was made a race car.
Car was intended to be a top shelf Vintage Race car to match my other Coupe. Rust free car! Checked on frame machine to make sure it was perfect. Full rotisserie restoration and its perfect ready for paint. The work was done by a known mustang expert in the Northeast that has done some very well known cars / race cars (Not a body shop guy...) The underside is done already in period Red Oxide and the engine bay is done. Full Cobra Automotive vintage race suspension is installed and a Moser rear from Cobra. Tons of extra parts not listed on spread sheet. Have pedal assembly, glass, and a whole lot more.
Ready for wiring, plumbing and your engine / trans. then just add paint. All the hard work done.
