Up for sale - a 1987 Porsche 944S Race Car - former PCA Club Race SP3 car with logbook. Initially built as a track day car for PCA DE events, ultimately transformed into a full time race car. Last run in AER. Has a clear Maryland title.
Comes with significant spares, including 3 sets of wheels, spare engine blocks, 16v head, brake calipers and assorted odds and ends that will keep it running for a very long time. Most recently chip tuned by John Behe just prior to his retirement.
Perfect as a track day car, NASA, SCCA, AER, ChampCar, or vintage racer - has fully welded chrome moly cage, Kirkey aluminum race seat, QD steering wheel, RACEPAK data logger, fire suppression system and has wiring for exterior lights for night racing. Current seat harnesses are expired and will need to be replaced
Weight saving fiberglass hood, nose, dash and sunroof. Lexan windshield and rear hatch. Car weight approximately 2200lbs. Recently corner balanced.
