Youtube walkaround video description with some in-car footage of it running available on request.
1990 CRX si chassis. Originally built for Honda Challenge H4 class racing with an inspected and certified to spec rollcage. Has since been modified out of the Honda Challenge class rules and upgraded to fit into the World Time Attack "small tire" classes. Well over $50k of upgrades into this car.
Engine: D16a6 bottom end, overbored with CP pistons, eagle rods, Genuine Honda bearings, ARP headstuds, MLS gasket, D16z6 Cylinder head with a one-off individual throttle body setup. Garrett GT2554r turbocharger (ball bearing, oil feed, water cooled) Air-to-water intercooler with a rear-mounted heat exchanger. Sidewinder style turbo manifold fabricated by LHT motorsports including turbo bracket and downpipe. Straight pipe exhaust angled to create a "blown diffuser" effect. Dual-bank fuel injection with ID1050x main fuel injectors and a hidden set of 310cc injectors if you decide to do some funny business. Haltech Elite 950 ECU tuned with anti-lag. Full motorsports-grade wiring harness. Coil on plug ignition. triple thickness "tucked" full sized radiator. 3d printed airbox and ram-air style intake.
Comes with an extra D16a6 engine (all "stock" for H4 class racing, this motor was assembled by the previous owner, it ran well in the car, but I have not verified that it is all stock)
Transmission: Short final drive ratio transmission with a limited slip differential. Installed by previous owner, unknown brand of LSD, unknown exact gear ratios, they claimed carbon synchros, but I have not verified that claim.
Comes with an extra transmission ("ZC" open differential transmission with equal length axles)
Chassis: Ohlins shocks and dual springs all around, spherical heim joints everywhere, including the rear trailing arms, front lower control arms, front radius arms, etc. Front skunk2 upper A-arms, adjustable rear toe links, Brembo big brake kit in front, OEM rear brakes, brake bias adjuster in-car and can be changed on the fly. Large aftermarket rear sway bar. Steel braided brake lines.
Safety: rollcage, fire suppression system (cabin and engine bay nozzles), electrical cut-off switch, up-to-date drivers side harness, expired passenger side harness. Drivers seat is a composite OMP, passenger seat is an off-brand carbon/kevlar shell. You will need your own helmet, suit, etc.
Other: Carbon fiber hood (in rough shape, but does the job) underbody venturi tunnel (made with rubberized material to handle scrapes) Aluminum rear diffuser, plywood front splitter with aluminum brackets. Rear spoiler is hinged and connected to some liner actuators so the angle of attack can be adjusted by the driver mid-session.
