This 350z has a NASA logbook dating back to 2014, with its most recent annual tech being 2025. I had acquired it from a Utah Spec-Z racer back in 2021, put some more time and money into it, and raced it in Spec-Z in Colorado.
I had kept its build limited to the Spec-Z rules. It should also be able to run in ST4, with room to build it further depending on your choice of tires, weight, power, etc.
I have a Utah title that is signed over to me by the previous owner, with Section B open to reassign it to another buyer.
Cage: Appears to be an Autopower cage with the main hoop, back legs, and door bars welded in
Driver Seat: OMP HTE-R XL (FIA-rated through 2026; some wear on fabric), plus a seat back brace (makes it NASA-legal past the FIA expiration date)
Harness: OMP 6-point, FIA-rated through 2025
Fire System: Lifeline Zero 2020 fire suppression system (Recently serviced, October 2025)
Steering Wheel: Sparco wheel with NRG quick release
Powertrain:
- VQ35DE engine block appears to be original and stock
- Transmission replaced by previous owner with the CD009 revision; was new in 2021
- No leaks (I store it on my lift and confidently park a Corvette below it)
- Exedy clutch
- Nismo flywheel
- ECU was tuned by previous owner (said to be done with Uprev)
- Momentum Performance exhaust from headers down
- Upgraded power steering cooler
- Koyo upgraded radiator
- Setrab oil cooler
- A/C and heater removed
- Evap system removed
- Nismo LSD
- Rear differential bushing
- Setrab rear differential cooler with Tilton pump (on switch panel)
- Z1 Fuel Anti-Starvation kit (solves right-turn starvation, but does impact fuel gauge function)
- Oil changed April 2026 (Rotella T6 5w40)
Suspension:
- KW double-adjustable coil-overs for SpecZ
- Front upper control arms for adjustable camber
Wheels / Tires:
- 3 sets of 18x10 Enkei RPF1, with used 295 Toyo RR and 275 Toyo RA-1 race tires; varying age/condition
- Additional used set of unmounted 295 Toyo RR tires
- ARP extended wheel studs with Gorilla open-end lug nuts
Brakes:
- OEM Brembo setup
- Pagid RSL29 pads with a good amount of life left on them
- Slotted rotors, worn
- Stainless steel braided lines
- Castrol SRF fluid
- ABS swapped to the more reliable base ABS computer (removing VDC), with new wires run to each sensor
Body / Cosmetic:
- Silver color, with assorted dings/dents/scratches/marks as the car has been racing for over a decade
- Hood and trunk both shut fine, but their alignment is not quite what it was when the car was new
- Front bumper is a darker gray and could use paint
- Front right headlight is a bit beat up
- Windshield has minor pits and cracks

- Weight is roughly 2900 lbs without driver or fuel

Known Mechanical Items That Could Use Attention:
- ABS isn't fully working (throws a C1105 code). It's better than the old VDC setup, but I haven't been able to fully resolve this. I was trying to stay with original 350z parts to remain legal for Spec-Z; if I were going to keep this car for ST4, my plan would be to just swap in an MK60 ABS and be done with it.
- It will need a new 6-point harness for 2026 if you're going racing, but it should be legal for HPDE
- I was planning to replace the rod bearings as preventative maintenance; I'll include the new set I had bought
- Rear diff fluid would be good to change as preventative maintenance
- Could use a fresh alignment
- Like any track car, you should give it a once-over yourself before running it
