Here is a really great and crazy wild find!
Opportunity to score a brand new Thunder Roadster race car for less than a used , beat down and flogged for 20 years POS.
Be the first to track this car and make your her your own. ( In 50 years of playing in this arena have never seen
an op. like this surface - exactlly why I bought her!).
It's a Brand new wide body Thunder Roadster single seat race car with all paperwork and documentation from 600 Racing and original owner. (Runs Yamaha 1250 w/ 5-speeds) Former owner became ill after purchase. Only tested at his home a bit then stored until his passing. His neighbor and friend sold car for his Widow to us. We extracted the car , picked up and went thru the whole car to prep for this Season track days for me to enjoy. Bought a fresh set of John Burgette 2026 run off tires, new battery, fuel lines, oil, tires and new Fuel Safe cell to replace out dated cell - she runs and drives as-new now -track ready.
This Thunder Roadster race car is just as ordered new. Not beat down used or re-furbished car. It's the real deal. Like ordering a new car from 600 racing. **** HUGE FEATURE - She was ordered with a unique wide body package from the factory (never seen one before, I have owned 13 Thunder Roadsters in past 20 years). Car has two complete sets of body work allowing car to be run as the original TR open wheel configuration (or, with a simple 10 min. dzus fastened switch to optional body panels) you can run car in enclosed wide body wheel configuration. ***Huge advantage over early and late TR's - this car can run open or closed wheel configuration. Maintains the stunning Original Roadster lines and stance. Properly removes the ugly new style duck butt/ brick layer esque square lines. Conversion maintains the graceful slippery lines and stance of the original Roadster paying homage to original Indy Roadster as designed - even in closed wheel configuration! Also, affords an opportunity to run in both open and closed wheel groups. Great option for track days if looking to play around w/other cars or get grouped w/ less drama. Maybe avoid that overcrowded sketchy bunch of new guys in Miata's swapping paint session? TRs are beautiful, fun, safe, fast and handle great. They are truly a real driver's car. Cars are as good as you are. Beginner or pro- these cars WILL hone your track skills and accommodate both. Ideal race cars for one man shows. Light and easy to load/un-load. Simple to own and maintain. Disposables like tires and brakes can last a couple years w/normal track day use. Another nice thing is they use very little fuel. I can push hard for a full track day on 5-10 gallons of fuel in these cars doing for 4 sessions! I trust pics should tell the story, black shiny factory paint on chassis, suspension -everything. All components/engine still as-new. Cockpit, floor, pedals, seat, gauges, steering wheel, etc. - perfect. All document no use. Body work pics and underside of panel pics show new panel condition never run. Anyhow, maybe this long description and pile-o-pics should be work to showcase the incredible " un-obtainium" package you'll get with this car. They are only Original once... Sooooo, end of story. Purchased this one as my last race car. Figured I'd have a brand new, reliable and safe Thunder Roadster for easy track days now that I'm old. Stuff changed, dealing w/ a few issues. Reluctantly letting all my race cars go down the road. I trust whoever grabs this wonderful car will score years of trouble free track day fun. (Might be a neat score for a race car collection as well?)
New owner will appreciate the new top notch and the price.
How about 8750$ for everything?! Cash Offers w/ no drama, neat M/C's like choppers, vintage race bikes, etc. - All considered!
