BARN/GARAGE FIND: 1970 OLDSMOBILE CONVERTIBLE. Fresh 403 cu.in. Olds engine. Totally rebuilt:stripped, block boiled out, cylinders honed, crankshaft polished. Std. bore and stroke. New cam bearings, piston rings, bearings, Comp camshaft, timing gear assy, Streetmaster aluminum heads, roller rocker arms, push rods, etc. Edelbrock intake with Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor, aluminum hi volume water pump, electric fuel pump. Sounds awesome! SUSPENSION: Complete Hotchkiss suspension, includes new springs, shocks, control arms, trailing arms, heavy duty sway bars front and rear. dropped 2" in front and 1" in rear. new power disc brakes front, drums in rear(proportioning valve). TRANSMISSION: T400 3 speed with a 2300 RPM stall speed converter. REAR END: Original 12 bolt open trac(comes with 3:55 posi unit not installed). INTERIOR: White bucket seats with console and floor shift(all factory original). Seats show some wear--no rips or tears. New carpet. Aftermarket gauges(GPS speedometer). Car was painted 10-12 years go along with a new white top(in good condition). A couple of blemishes in paint(see photos). Vehicle needs to be taken to the finish line--some wiring straightened out and completed. I'm 82 years old with severe arthritis and to knee replacements pending--unable to finish.
