CROWER 4-Port Scoop Mechanical Fuel Injection, originally designed by Bruce Crower in the late 1960s. During the golden era of front-engine dragsters, only Crower and Hilborn produced true 4-port scoop injections—similar in appearance, but very different in design.
This style of Crower injection was famously run on Don Garlits’ Swamp Rat XIII prior to the 1970 accident. Crower produced mechanical fuel injection systems until the mid-1980s, later selling the original patterns and tooling to Ron Upham of Ron’s Injection (Arizona). This unit was manufactured by Ron using the original Crower tooling.
Condition: NOS. Only bolted to a display engine, never run.
Fitment: Designed for 6-71 and 8-71 blowers.
