Chevrolet 396 block and heads. Original first-year casting, 1965. Very good condition.
Date-coded on the block. Comes with 1st generation large oval port cyl heads.
Dates will match a restoration project from 1965-66. +
The engine has the original 4.094” factory bore. Never been machined, a survivor engine.
Believe that it came originally in an SS Impala, mid-‘65 or early ’66. Stored inside in dry climate.
