Yes. I had to wire it, instal a fuel system, motor and trans. I have never even messed with the suspension. I put Wilwood discs on front but other than that all I do is crawl under it and make sure the bolts are tight once in awhile. I bought it in 1996 from a guy in his late 60's I would estimate that was getting out of racing. I asked "what does what when you adjust the ladder bars?" He said "DON'T F%$# WITH IT!!!" I said "Yeah but.." he said "DON'T F*&^ WITH IT IT WORKS!"

SO i DON'T F^%$ WITH IT.

Car would probably hook in the snow.

I got lucky.

there and messed with it cause you just had to right, heh
i had posted an ad wanting a nova project and this kid about a hour
away sent me pics of his project and it was a 72 nova backhalved
and thats it, it still need cage, front work and he wanted 19k, so
you got a hell of a deal for that price and the car looks great,
so yea, best advice the old man gave you, don't fck with it,

$5000 is still alot of money for a car in that kind of state.
But sometimes you just have to have it :!: :!:
If you plan on racing it seriously make sure the cage specs out!

Local racer had one same year and in the same condition of being done.
He sat on it for months @ 5500.00 never could sell it and traded it.

It may be the same one not sure it went a little ways away ..

not trying to price the mans stuff but I would bet 5k cash in person would take that wagon home and your playing on the track the same night.... looks like A LOT fun for No work and little money !
