Setting a delay box
Going to the track tomorrow nite for the first test and tune, have never run this car and have never run electronics. Not too sure what number to put in the box. I know ther are a million variables involved in getting them set right but I just want something to start with so I dont look like a tool sitting at the line for 2 seconds after green or red lighting by 2 seconds.

I would start with about 1.000 to 1.030. That should get you close enough to figure out where you need to set it. Just do the math on your reaction time compared to what you have in the box. If you set it at 1.000 and have a .025 red light put the box on 1.030. If you stage and react the same and your car reacts the same that should give you a .005 light.

I seem to cut my best lights on the practice tree with a 1015 set as delay but that doesnt really take rollout or car reaction time into consideration. Thanks for the tip, I'll try 1030 and see what happens.
