TORQUE CONVERTER
Hey guys i need help choosing the best converter for my setup, i have a 235" slip joint dragster running a 565 bbc 1005 hp on motor, powerglide w/1.80 gear, 410 gear. Will be running mostly 1/8 mile brackets butplan on running some 1/4 mile divisionals and maybe a 375 shot of nos if needed. I ran the car with a converter i had last year and was running 4.70s & 80s. I know the motor calls for a stall between 6000-6300 stall and was thinking about going spragless, i know the conveter i have now stalls no where close to this. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a 6200 trans specialties convertor sitting on the shelf in the garage for a spare to my 6800 stall coan. If I have to buy a new convertor it would for sure be a Hughes. I've had good luck with Coan, ATD/Hipster, TSI, and Hughes. I think they will set you up with something around 6200-6400
