I don't think he meant to misrepsent the manifold, but could have easily been misread.
Again not taking sides here, i think the price is good and should sell.

wetrats , chrisr is right,,the 2r is for rectangler ports and 2o for oval , both were advertised as 3500 to8000 but it is not the exact manifold(454) in apperance as the one you are looking for ,,,but does flow the same.
The ram 2r runs 4500 to 8500 but that is tunnel ram....
I don't think the man tried to "SCREW" you as you said but neither of you really knew what he had,,,mayby he would have been better off saying that he didn't really know what it was , but it was still up to you to make the purchase based on what info you had. It would be nice if he agreed to undo deal because of confusion but I don't think he is obligated to ..
Just my two cents ,,,good luck selling it if that 's what it takes , shouldn't be a problem...

the intake I received is a rect port, but it is not the intake I feel like I was described. I expected a victor 454-R not a victor 2-R. No one can produce ANY info on the 2-R so I have no idea where it even came from
What is the difference between him leaving the "2R" off his description and YOU leaving the "454 R" off of yours? That was my point when I said someone please show me a picture of a "Standard Victor" which was YOUR words to describe what you were shopping for. My point was None of them that I've ever seen just said "Victor" they all have something along with that like 454R or Super Victor.
If the intake had rectangular intake ports as he described please tell me how he misrepresented his VICTOR 2R intake w/rect ports.

YOU make it sound like there is a Victor intake and a Victor 2R intake.

There isn't.

O'K now i'm more clear, it is a sq. port, both the manifold you recieved and the manifold you thought you were getting are single plain manifolds. Don't sell it, trust me you will not know the difference in a manifold that's supposed to perform from 3500 to 8500, and a manifold that's supposed to perform 4500 to 8500. O'K it's not what you thought you were buying and i understand that point, but the seller did not misrepresent it in his ad. You still have an excellent manifold. With that said i donot run B/BLKs, i only build them for customers, but i would not hasitate to use that manifold.

hmmm

I spoke with Jason on the phone and in our phone conversations I feel like the intake was misrepresented as well. I was told that the RPM range was 3500-8500, the 454-R range, whereas the 2-R is 4500-8500.

The RPM range on a 454R is not 3500 to 8500 it is 3500 to 8000 as is the Victor 454 2-R, the Super Victor is 3500 to 8500 and the only one that is 4500 to 8500 is the ram 2-R and It is pretty clear the one you have is not a tunnell ram. So the intake you have is 3500 to 8000 regardless whether is says R or 2-R.

for those that haven't read all the post s here I am building twin motors for a boat. Regardless of performance capabilities of the intakes, thanks to those that corrected me, the 2-R looks NOTHING like the 454-R. The 2-R won't even work due to the height. I'll chalk this one up to a difference in opinions and continue on with my paypal claim in order to get my $ back.

If you are not going to use the intake, I'll give you a drawing of a spider for it. No need for you to worry about an honor payment.I will send one of his legs to RJ on your behalf..
