That's what I am about to do....bought house a year ago from an older couple that kept the lawn beautiful....last years drought and a county ban on watering killed the lawn....now this year it is mostly weeds. ...thinking of tilling it up and starting over

PLEASE send some to southeast New Mexico...!
We are going into our fourth year in a row severe drought, with severe water usage restrictions looming again.
Half of my Mulberry and Evergreen trees have already died off, with the other half not looking good, and forget the garden...?
The water geeks say our water table is down over 20' from last year, with 6' of it in the last two months...? :O(
Why can't we use an old abandoned transcontinental gas pipeline to pump your excess water over to this side of the country... and help us both out...?

Yep I feel ya pain. In my part of world we have been in drought for past few years anywhere from mild to fines being handed out if caught washing cars.

Just like Bone said we (SC) My area has gotten plenty of rain. 7 inches this past weekend. We had sunshine Monday and Tuesday during day but rains came at night and I mean heavy. I am on private well so I am happy !

Its been a mess here, a friend of mine is trenching his back yard right now since the water table is higher than his septic field, glad I live on a big hill!
