The roller dragster that I sold on RJ last year was sold to a guy from Ohio. I swear it is the truth, I cannot remember his name. If you are reading this and I sold you the dragster, step up DEFEND YOUR STATE!.

I agree with juice about Vega being harsh to Ohio in the first post, but I have to say, I damn sure understand. Just don't be cussin us out Vega, we are all big boys and can argue and remain pals!!

I didn't read the thread because I didn't think it was something I wanted to hear about. However, I had to read it after I saw this. He just wants to argue. He's gonna rant about whatever the last post is unless it's bashing the entire state of Ohio. I agree the topic is absolutely stupid.

Vega, everyone has personal opinions about goofy things that don't make sense to others. If you have a personal dislike for the state of Ohio that's fine with me, just don't expect anyone else to go along with you and scream it all over this forum. I HATE THE # 7. It is absolute horrible for me. I can go all the way back to my 7th birthday (im 41) and tell you about some bad times I've had with the number 7. From car wrecks to a nasty divorce to last night going to the track with 7 gallons of gas. I got a bs speeding ticket and my truck broke for the first time in 3 years. I HATE the #7, but I doubt I can convince the other guys on here to STAY THE HEII AWAY FROM 7's.

BTW I bought an OHIO crankshaft and I had a good deal. Does that count??

PS. Good luck with the Anger Management classes. They do help :?

I haven't said anything concerning the sellers from Ohio because it sounded like one of those bait threads where someone just wants some attention. But, it has to be one of the most ignorant things I've heard in quite a while. Here is another sample.

The kid deserved an apology from the idiot that was supposed to be teaching, not detention.
It's just another example of people trying to typecast everyone because of some trait or because they refuse to accept someone as an authority on a subject. To say everyone in Ohio is a scammer is stupid unless you have personally dealt with every person in that state. I'm sure they have their share of thieves just as every other state has. One of the objectives of this forum is to identify those lowlifes so the buyers can avoid them. Hope you have better luck in your future dealings, but do your homework before you shell out your money. IMHO 8)

I NEVER SAID EVERYONE FROM OHIO WAS BAD. I SAID I HAD BAD DEALINGS AND ASKED FOR OTERS FEEDBACK. PEOPLE DID NOT LIKE THE WAY I ASKED THAN MAYBE THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADULTS AND SAID THE QUESTION WAS WORDED WRONG, NOT BASH ME! YOU ALL SAY THAT IF I DO NOT LIKE IT SHUT UP. WHAT RIGHT DO YOU GUYS HAVE GOING OFF ON ME? I DO NOT LIKE WHAT OTHERS SAY BUT DO NOT BASH THEM FOR IT. THE FORUM IS FOR ASKING QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY RIGHT? THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!!! ONE MEMBER WROTE AND TOOK ME SERIOUS, HE HAD A NEGATIVE AND A POSITVE STORY, NOT A BUNCH OF BS. THANK YOU!!

If everyone on RJ was on my butt about the way I posted something I would be embarrassed and sure wouldn't KEEP MAKING IT WORSE on myself. Why is it so hard to just say guys I didn't mean it the way it sounded. Let me try it again.

Maybe something like this.
"I've had several bad deals with guys from Ohio :x . Could someone please tell me it's just my bad luck? " That would not have been a direct attack on anyone and you would not have drawn so much attention to yourself. Trust me the guys on here will help you go after a scammer, but you have to have facts not slander.

Nobody is trying to pick a fight with you or make you look bad, only asking you to think about what you're posting.

If you had a problem with someone from Ohio, give the specifics of that transaction. Don't nuke the state when all you need is a sniper. Didn't mean to offend you, just as I'm sure you didn't mean to slander a whole state.
