Default Do dApps Really Offer Better Security Than Traditional Apps?

Security is one of the biggest reasons people talk about decentralized applications. Since dApps run on blockchain networks, data is distributed rather than stored on a single central server, which can reduce the risk of single-point failures and large-scale breaches. Smart contracts also add transparency, as transactions are recorded and verifiable.

However, dApps are not completely risk-free. Bugs in smart contracts, phishing attacks, and poor implementation can still create vulnerabilities. That’s why choosing an experienced decentralized application development company becomes important to ensure proper auditing, secure coding practices, and reliable architecture.

So what do you think? Are dApps truly more secure than traditional apps, or do they just shift the risks in a different direction?
