well "I" never SAID you scammed him. Like I said if you want to know something about me that is relevant to your situation in this post then feel free to ask and I will tell you. I think you fellas keep going back to the whole profile thing because you think this is a conspiracy. I told you before I dont know jrlj. Why dont you think about your next reply real good and see if you can come back with something that proves jrlj was wrong in accepting the compensation MOP offered him.

Let me see if I can guess the next question you will have..hmmm.. oh I know.. Are you black or white? are you voting for barack obama or hillary? maybe you want to know my religion.

I dont mean to be harsh guys but I think we are getting off the subject here.

Default carb

Have i ever said he was wrong or right? I don't care if you are black or white, don't care who you vote for. But there is one thing for sure, the price of the carb didn't warrant me going across the u,s after it, but you sure are getting me to that point with you. You seem to be one of these people that get's their kicks from keeping things stirred up and is afraid to show themselves for who they really are, well on second thought you have showed whom you are, TO THE REST OF YOU GUY'S ON HERE, IGNORE THIS PEST AND IT MIGHT GO AWAY!

LMAO @ MOP Sorry you feel like you have to TRY and beat on a person because they brought a different point of view to your attention. Shows your level of intelligence there buddy. I thought we were all adults just having an open discussion. If you would grow up and take responsibility for your multiple mistakes in this situation you might feel just a little bit better about yourself. Instead of threatening violence you should try seeing the other side of this situation. thats all im trying to get you to do here..friend

Well I see that any hopes of any reasoning you might have has turned to stupidity so I guess I will stop "poking at the bears". I do have to say I got some enjoyment out of conversing with you guys. I do honestly feel that jrlj had every right to keep the carb you offered him to make up for your mistakes. Just my opinion. I will check back every now and then to see if you want to chat about it some more.

Someone great once said "We all have to take a stand at some point....I think I'll stand here"

Default CARB

I feel great about myself, drag racing is starting up, going racing, lovely wife, nice home, nice garage, fast car, what else is there. I only made one mistake. And that is trying to deal with Jim.

Now your placing blame on him. You made a mistake by misrepresenting what you had (by accident). after things got out of hand a little you realized it was mostly your fault so you done something good (offered the carb as compensation) and made it right. Great job! exactly how you should have handled it. But then things went down hill in this forum becasue you didnt actually intend on giving him the compensation you offered and the guilt trip started.

JR should have realized that there was a communication mistake, been appreciative of your offer and then met that generosity by returning the carb. deal done, friends made and everyone happy.

When he kept the carb and said he did it because you told him that was the deal? It became all about the money.

But then these days it is all about the money right? Not about doing whats right, making friends and building relationships, even meeting trading partners.

Mopar, what that carb deal/final offer bought you is the admiration and respect of many on this board.

JR, returning it would buy you the same.

My opinion as always,

Later

it is what is stated in the above quoted post that is the real issue...at least for me.
