The facts are, our Govt has been spiraling down at a rapidly increasing rate ever since Reagan's last day in office. The current 'leader' of the 'free' world is pushing HARD for a Socialist system in OUR country. He is fomenting class warfare in 'hopes' of being 'forced' to order martial law(POWER over the PEOPLE not BY the PEOPLE).

Radical(z):
You are completely out to lunch. Now that you have ran your mouth a little more, I now understand your type all too well. I was just trying to say "calm down" & your comments got me fired up again. I see why some people say they don't talk about politics & religion!!
1. No one here is defending GW. Nor are they defending his past much. Not once have I spoke aboput GW... you might just remember he kept our country safe after we were attacked on 9/11 however. I would say you sound more like a Liberal... quick to blame past Repubicans/leaders for the issues today. If you want to play that game, check out what the Clinton Administration did to the mortgage industry such as Fannie/Freddie Mac... Hypocrite. BTW, I am an IDEPENDANT now...because I am for the rights & freedom of the people, not our government.
2. The common denominator here is that people are saying the CURRENT ADMINISTRATION that you support is doing ALOT of damage in just a few short months. In addition, the priorities of that administration are sickening. Come back here in a year & tell me how much you appreciate them... you are in denial big time!! If you don't think Obama & company are not working hard to remove our guns step by little step right now, then you are blind & ignorant. Now there is a top priority while our economy is crumbling!! Anyways, if you do not think our youth are in trouble, or our freedom is being comprimised, our Constitution is at risk, OUR POCKET BOOKS, & excessive taxation is not in our horizon, then you are just simply dense. I have not even mentioned about WHERE our taxes will be used since the election of Obama... on a spiritual level, he has crossed the line into abosolute SOCIALISM. I can not blame you for voting for him, because people like you need a leader like Obama. It is not different than a sheep needing somone to tend to them... they don't want to think for themselves. That is where you & I are different: I believe in the American Spirit & the deeds of the people in this country. Be it free trade, LESS government, prosperity, HARD WORK, freedom, honoring God & including him in all things, etc... what I think you are saying is that you support: big government (fix it, so I don't have too), more laws that prohibit freedom, socialised systems for those who are lazy & think they are "owed" something, more legislation, banning guns (becuse they "Kill"... not the person behind it), legalize abortion & impose penalties to those who decline the act of MURDERING innocent lives (yeah, check that one with your administration), Tax the hard working, give to the poor, then just tax the hell out of everyone else, blow FANTASTIC amounts of money & call it a "stimulis plan" while our country can't even recover from its current economic state, etc... that is what we are faced with. I do not support Obama, like him, respect what he is doing, etc... you can have him. You are right, people wanted "change" & they are going to get it. Do your homework before you come on here talking like you think we need to clean up the last "8 years"... look at what is in front of your face. Please, most people around here are not going to agree with your BS. Look at the facts Dick Tracey.

go scooter!!!the last couple yrs.its been hard for mr to express what i think.(that damn wreck again) anyway you have ht iton the head.thanks my friend you have said it for me.when people cannot see what is happenening all around them then they will pay for their ignorance.i have seen this comung for a long time and no one would listen to me.our country is very young. but we are making mistakes that killed older governments. look how long the roman empire lasted. we will never last near that long. not as a free nation anyway.our government has moved to the very edge of socialism. on more step and we are their.these dumbas- people blame corporate america for our troubles. if it wasnt for corporate america there would be no free enterprise. no chance for profit, then no reason for buisness, no buisness, no jobs no jobs no nothing.everytime government steps in to save the day the screw up what ever they try to save. the best government is the lest government. thomas jefferson said it.damn was he ever right.

I see what you are saying Tod. I blew off that comment as Double/D being passonate about the subject... even though some may have taken offense to it, I did not not.
What chaps me is when someone like Radicalz tries to predict everyones past, present & future w/ his narrow & ignorant political views...
Outlaw: Although you & vary in age, we are not so different. I appreciate the kind of American you are... we need more like you. Scooter

In my opinion, Jefferson was probably one of the wisest of the presidents.
Jefferson in some cases could be called a prophet.
When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe .
Thomas Jefferson
The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.
Thomas Jefferson
It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.
Thomas Jefferson
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.
Thomas Jefferson
My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.
Thomas Jefferson
No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.
Thomas Jefferson
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
Thomas Jefferson
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Thomas Jefferson
To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.
Thomas Jefferson
Very Interesting Quote
In light of the present financial crisis, it's interesting to read what Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.'

I don't think anyone is blaming OBAMA fort this economic mess...I think they/we are just alarmed at his proposed solutions. I agree with you that he hasn't been in office long enough to tell yet...but I just don't agree with his policies at all. In my opinion much of our problems today started back when Clinton was in office. Things were great then...however, the whole deal with the government getting involved in the mortgage industry.."EVERYONE DESERVES TO OWN A HOME" ...well sure they do...but only if they can pay for it.little to No money down and variable interest rates sound great, until the interest rate goes up and you can no longer pay the mortgage...which is what has happened. JMO I am by far no financial expert by any means...don't claim to be.
  Is that what you guys are doing now....What chaps me is when someone like Radicalz tries to predict everyones past, present & future w/ his narrow & ignorant political views...you guys have already come to a conclusion without seeing the facts...he, Obama, has only been in office less than 100 days and you guys think that this mess we are in is his fault?....smoke a little more gents because the blindness you are expeirencing is Bush installed.....talk about this when he gets a couple of years in or maybe we should impeach now...would that solve it?

tod, absolutly. everyone should own a home after they make the life style choice to save the money for the down payment. to often today people spend there money on crap . I lived in and apartment in a building i ran for four years , had two jobs & worked six and sometimes seven days a week . When i bought my house the interest rate was 13 percent , It was hard to make the payments at that time(no new cars & expensive anything). what i am getting at is WHEN YA BUST YOUR ASS TO SAVE FOR SOMTHING YA AINT GONNA LET IT GO. from about 2002 we get people comming in to rent apartments that have crap credit 3 & 4 evictions (have bought stuff and never even made a single payment). we turn them down and there response is ( are you for real?). people have got use to getting something for nothing , its no wonder why things are the way they are. in cook county now when we get a tenant that does not pay the rent it takes about five to six months to get them out because the courts & sheriffs dept feel sorry for the deadbeat. we had to lay off a couple of guys just to make gas bills taxes and all the other expenses. how the hell does cook county think we can pay the realestate taxes without people paying the rent for six months? :? :?
