Show up in person. Call 10 minites before you get there to check on the status of the motor, when you get the I have to check and will call you back just say no problem and pull into the parking lot. Walk into the shop and ask the very same question. Now they have to deal with you

T and L engine won't return the customers phone calls or emails also.

This is what my customer found out about T and L Engines

He checked the NC better business on them. 23 items reported on delivery issue’s 2 late 21 non delivery of products.


Customer Complaint History for T & L Engine Development
When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

BBB processed a total of 36 complaints about T & L Engine Development in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period. Of the total of 36 complaints closed in 36 months, 31 were closed in the last year.

These complaints concerned :

1 - regarding Billing or Collection Issues

1 - None of the Above - Credit, Billing or Collection Complaint Issue

4 - regarding Customer Service Issues

3 - Failure to provide promised assistance or support for products or services

1 - Failure to respond to phone calls or written requests for assistance or support

23 - regarding Delivery Issues

2 - Late delivery of products

21 - Non-delivery of products

1 - regarding Guarantee or Warranty Issues

1 - Failure to honor service under the terms of warranties

2 - regarding Product Issues

2 - Defective, damaged, or incorrect product received

2 - regarding Refund or Exchange Issues

2 - Failure to honor promised refunds, exchanges, or credit

1 - regarding Repair Issues

1 - Delayed completion of repair

1 - regarding Sales Practice Issues

1 - Sales presentation not consistent with advertisement

1 - regarding Service Issues

1 - Delayed completion of service

These complaints were closed as:

18 - Resolved

7 - Company resolved the complaint issues. The consumer acknowledged acceptance to BBB.

11 - Company addressed the complaint issues. The consumer failed to acknowledge acceptance to BBB.

7 - No Response

7 - Company failed to respond to BBB to resolve or address the complaint issues.

10 - Unresolved

10 - Company failed to resolve the complaint issues through BBB voluntary and self-regulatory process.

1 - Administratively Closed

1 - BBB determined the company provided proper verification that indicated there was no obligation to resolve the issues of the complaint.

Loyd called the customer in mid Dec of 2009 said the engine was going to the dyno the next week. The customer has called and emailed every week but and Still no engine.

I had high hopes that I could inform every one that we Received our engine BUT I WAS WRONG.

How far are you from the shop ? If it were at all feesable I would stop in for some coffee and see whats going on.

Called T and L on Monday (2/1/10) and they answered the phone.the person that answered the phone replied that that they would check into and call me back.

Well at about 5pm they returned the call and informed me that the engine will be finished, dyno tuned and shipped by the end of the week Friday 2/5/10
