Not real sure why you guys hate him so much. Jealous I don't know. If its not about the cash, why is every one of his shows sold out. Ok mabe people want on TV but the $10,000.00 has a lot to do with it. This is just my opinion. So go on start kicking the crap out of me.
Jealous, i doubt that, there are people on this site that could buy and sell Rich Christon (not me) my problem with him is that he runs the show to his benifit for the camera (eye candy) Case in point 2 or 3 yrs. ago at Memphis, the lights was only working in 1 lane the first day (no Rich that day) the second and final day he doesn't show up until 3:00PM and decides to turn off the cameras and runs the race first to the strip wins, we all know that a lot of the rascers run nitrous and can run faster than they qualify, they also cut the payoff to less than half because more than half of the racers left before the 2 nd day, but he had their entry fee in the bank. Another point at Shreeveport/Red River 4 or 5 of my friends went to the race They payed $100.00 entry fee for 3 runs to qualify, they got one run and everyone was too fast in the end they all ran in the 8's in the QTR. so they paid $100.00 to watch a race that ran what he chose 10.00 second cars, Sure he had 400 entries at that race and all the entry fees. This is not about real racing, it's about money for him.

409, you need to go the track and get some seat time to find out what real racing is all about and then you will realise what most of us are saying here on the forum.

Zip.

Sorry I will be at the bank with Rich, cashing his check. Just kidding . Your right I do need some seat time. Mostly wacthed my Dad. I do know one thing he loved to win with money or a trophy he was happy all the same. The trophy on the table for Mom to see the cash in the car to go faster. I reallly miss him. You may be right I have all the trophys and no cash.

I have always, and will always, have great respect for zipper. I knew some of what Brian posted, just not all the details.

You can't teach experience fellas. I think most here know that.

As far as PINKS....I like the show. It's entertaining. I think sometimes Rich breaks one off in a guy on the regular Pinks...makes them practically give a guy a race just to drag it out longer. That's not cool. Saw him do that a few years ago and the car that should have won ended up blowing up and they lost the car. It was "AMP" motorspoprts or something like that. Mustang shop.

Happy Holidays to all of you.

''Zip' You are right, I entered 10-1-10 and 10-2-10 here at Bristol on friday No rich, willyb, ken herring, but on saturday morning he finally showed up for the drivers meeting,During the meeting he said that Brian had allready picked the cars to run. 32 car's with 16 more on reserve if they couldn't get the 32 run off in time.So if they got thru half of the 32 in the time then they would stop and bring in the 16 on reserve and run them for the money Is this fair :?: I don't think so :!: This azzclown never saw all the car's run on friday.Car's picked on friday :!:

On the other hand he may be able to promote his new show, and yes he'll make money from it. But that's because kids and some adults have no experience with real racing which he makes a joke of.
This show like all his previous shows is playing on the non racing public/real racers.

Sorry for the Rant, but he ranks 2nd to the most stupid person in the USA, but with a big following. Yes OBAMA, ranks first.

I can say that just about everyone on here has lost a loved one, family or friend, at one time or another. We all share that news with each other on here but DO NOT 'use' that unfortunate incident to look for sympathy or to whine about how we're being 'treated' on this forum, but rather 'support'. We all have EARNED each others 'respect' over time AND interaction ( some of it quite SPIRITED !! ). As you can see, we ALL voice our 'opinions' but 'respectfully' (there's that word again) disagree at times if not often.

The real problem with forums, email, and internet chatting, is that without being able to see facial expressions or hear voice inflections, a comment can be seriously misunderstood. It really is an art to 'write' and not offend or misinform someone. We must all take a comment lightly and just ask again for clarification or a different approach.

There certainly are those who come on here to 'shake up the troops' with their 'opinions' but eventually cannot withstand the light hearted ribbing that OFTEN greets a NEWBY. It's kind of a 'get to know your character' type of greeting. To see if you 'fit' as you say. ANY group ANYwhere vets newbies in some way or another. The smart one is he or she who watches and learns before making any heavy accusations.

You'll not find on any other racing forum this type of kind, understanding, and supportive internet friendships than on here.

Welcome aboard and my sincere condolences for your father. Personally I've lost both parents, aunts, uncles and an easy dozen friends over the years. I honor them by being the best person I can be.
