I use to be a die hard frrd guy, but always like the early Chevelle too. My best friend had one, but it was far from original and kinda beat up, but still liked it. It had a 350 in ( probably a vette motor), but it had an emblem on it that was two checkered flags (crossed) and said 396 fuel injected. I have no idea what fuel injected was back then.
For me it would be either an early Chevelle or a early Camaro
