Winonan Van Norman VB160SF Bore Mill. Comes with 3 Bore Heads and other tooling, and the Roll Over Cradle and Head Plate Fixture.
Mill will bore up to 8 inch dia. has 14 inch boring spindle with three boring heads, Sandvic milling head, quick clamps, parallel supports, clamp sets, and other tooling including bore mic, bits and bit holders. There is a lot of tooling. (see pictures) It has the XYZ Digital Readout, VB Control Panel with LED read outs for spindle rate, power head down feed and table traverse rates. This mill is in my shop hooked up and running. The shop I bought it from did diesel work, but closed.
The 12” milling head and TableTraverse of 49” are large enough to handle an 855 Cummins Block.
The operator can change from milling to boring in just minutes without removing the work piece from the machine.
I originally bought it thinking of shifting to diesel work, but never did. It only gets used as a mill, and its over kill for that. I will be disconnecting it to install a different mill. I can send more pictures or videos.
