Hello, all…
This is to announce the availability of an outstanding cackle car, for purchase. The car is owned by Tommy “The Watchdog” Allen. He was a heavy hitter in top fuel in the mid to late 1960’s.
Mr. Allen is an honorable man when he says this car needs nothing, it’s true.
It is a 1969 196’ wheelbase Race Car Engineering top fuel dragster. It was originally campaigned by Tommy and Larry Huff. It was originally powered by a Chrysler 392 cubic inch “Hemi” engine. The car (then and now) has the best parts money can buy. With everything either chromed, polished, or anodized. Some parts/tubing were used from the original car. However, this is mostly a new frame and body, with paint by Phil Whetstone.
The dragster runs as good as it looks, and will stand next to any other cackle car and hold its own, or better! The 392 Chrysler is fresh and features a Hampton blower, Enderle injector, “killer” rocker arms, along with many top of the line parts—including a Lenco reverser with a neutral added for safety. The rear end is an 8 3/4 Mopar. This cackle dragster needs nothing.
It is fairly priced at $85,000.00. Partial trade possible up to $30,000.00. Would consider a late model pickup truck, or an older El Camino, up to 1970.
