1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z/28

Real Z/28, with the build sheet to back it up. Original color Cortez Silver with a black vinyl top. Restored in 2015 and driven only about 1,000 miles since. Three-owner car, and the last owner had it 10 years.
THE CAR

Built at Van Nuys, CA on February 19, 1969
Sold new at Kennet Chevrolet, Hawthorne, CA
Odometer shows 62,930 miles. It read 61,873 at the 2014 appraisal
DZ 302/290 HP V-8, engine-out refresh in 2015
Not the original engine to this car: pad reads 19L554028, VIN ends in 524028
Engine stamped V0207DZ: Flint, Feb 7, 1969, which fits the car's Feb 19 build date
Original A.I.R. smog system as equipped
Holley 4-barrel, aluminum intake, aluminum valve covers, chrome air cleaner
Muncie 4-speed, rebuilt in 2015. Not the original transmission
12-bolt Posi rear with 3.73 gears. Axle stamped BU 1017 G1 (BU is the 3.73 Posi code these cars came with)
4-leaf rear springs
Manual steering
Power brakes, front disc / rear drum
Heater delete, so no heater or defrost
15" Rally wheels with chrome trim rings
Goodyear Speedway Wide Tread bias-ply tires
Black vinyl top, standard hood, standard chrome package
Black rally stripes, front chin and rear deck spoilers

2015 WORK
======
Engine-out refresh and transmission rebuild
Resprayed in the original Cortez Silver
New clutch, gas tank, fuel lines, master cylinder, brakes and rotors
CONDITION
======
The paint is gorgeous. Any imperfections are shown in the gallery, plus a small ping on the hood that's very hard to see in pictures.
The radio doesn't work. Everything else works as it should. We did an inspection, including fluid levels.
Underneath: solid floors and trunk pan, no patches. Surface rust on the frame rails and front suspension. Dual exhaust with a new muffler we just put on. All shown in the gallery.

2014 appraisal report
NCRS Shipping Data Report confirming the build date and selling dealer
Original partial build sheet, confirming the car as a factory Z/28: 302, 4-speed, 3.73 Posi. Van Nuys cars don't have Z/28 codes on the trim tag, so the build sheet is what proves it. This one was found on top of the gas tank.
