A 1972 429 CJ Police Interceptor engine, with a .055" offset stroker crank (Ford forging) set up for Mopar 440 rods & BBC +.125" pistons. Works out to a 454", but with a realistic 650-7200 rpm range without coming apart. Has a 1.857:1 rod/stroke ratio, which is real close to 426 Hemi & SBC 302DZ realm.
I'm including a page with all the parts/casting numbers so you can see if this will be what you are looking for. Many "new parts" for this build, but it was also started in the mid-80's.
Still needs a cam/lifter/springs/retainers. We were still waiting to see where it would live at the point the project stopped, so we did not have those ordered yet. Works out better for you, since your home for it will require it's own set of parameters.
Looking at $8K for this, the cost of the parts alone are past that (as usual), but I have need to make it go away. Been hauling it from shop to shop for long enough, & I don't have a place to put it in.
