This is a 4 bolt main, flat top piston short block from a wrecked motorhome chassis that had only 36k miles on it. You can check the casting number, this is NOT a tall deck. It looked like new inside. We installed a car oil pan, HV oil pump, pickup and Cloyes double roller timing chain. The heads are vintage 3931063 large oval port, small combustion chamber (101cc) with 2.06 1.72 stainless steel valves. We installed a Howards L-78 425HP/427 replicam, lifters and valve springs. 3/8" pushrods and Comp Cams full S.S. roller rockers. The intake is a Speedmaster Air Gap and the carb is a Holley 750 double pump with 4 corner idle mixture adjustments. Ignition is a H.E.I. 40K volt dist. with Moroso wires. This is a complete running motor minus headers, starter, alternator, and pulleys. If you are looking for a 400+ horsepower motor for your project, this will work GREAT.
