RARE 2-door 1962 Falcon Station Wagon. This is a full drag race car. It is set up for a SBC motor and power glide trans. I am selling it as a roller. It would make someone a good bracket car or nostalgic racer. At the last race of this season, it ran 6 passes at 6.93 - 97 MPH in the 8th mile. It goes straight and is easy to drive. I have enjoyed the car, but I have another project I’m working on, so this one has to go. Here is a list of the specs for the car:
Full 3x2 frame
Heidst Mustang 2 complete front end
All steel body
Full roll cage
Tubbed
Full original glass - except the rear window (lexan)
Painless fused switch panel and wiring
Aluminum interior
For 9” rear end
4-link
Strange nodular third member with Moser 33 spline axles - 4:10 racing gears
Aluminum pinion support
Disc brakes on all 4 corners
Coil over shocks
MSD ignition
Headers (car specific for fender exit)
Weld wheels - 5/8 Drag studs on rear
10.5 x 29.5 slicks
Car comes with the fuel cell, fuel pump and regulator (E 85), radiator and fan, up-to-date seat belts, new seat cover. (Driveshaft can be purchased for additional fee )
This car is ready to receive your engine and trans and go racing. It is not a”show” car, but it looks good, and receives a lot of attention in the pits. Since I am working on another project, I am selling this car at a really low price for what it is, and has for equipment. Priced to sell quickly at $6200.. Six two zero, two four nine, two one zero two.
