1968 Pontiac Firebird Drag Car
Pontiac V8 | Powerglide | Transbrake | 10-Point Cage | Wilwood Disc Brakes
This purpose-built 1968 Pontiac Firebird drag car has both serious racing equipment and a meaningful history.
Previously owned and raced by a North Carolina motorsports enthusiast who has since passed away, the Firebird was inherited by his daughter. Rather than let the car sit unused, the family chose to find a new owner who can appreciate it and hopefully return it to the track.
The Legendary Garage in Level Cross, North Carolina, was commissioned to evaluate the car and get it running. With that work completed, The Legendary Reserve is offering the Firebird on consignment for the family.

CONDITION
The Legendary Garage evaluated the car with the goal of getting it running and checking basic mechanical operation.
The engine starts and appears to run well, and the Powerglide transmission appears to operate properly.
Because this is a previously raced vehicle with incomplete build history, a full mechanical and safety inspection is strongly recommended before competition use.
The next owner should:
• Inspect the chassis and roll cage for current racing requirements
• Check critical fasteners and torque specifications
• Inspect and adjust suspension
• Install new racing tires before track use
• Verify drivetrain specifications and safety equipment
The car has NOT been represented as currently certified or track-tested. Engine displacement, internal specifications, rear gear ratio, historical elapsed times, and current competition eligibility remain unverified.
Located at The Legendary Garage in Level Cross, North Carolina.
Contact The Legendary Reserve for additional information, photos, or to schedule an inspection.
This Firebird is offered as a purpose-built, previously raced competition vehicle. All specifications, safety certifications, and competition eligibility should be independently verified by the purchaser.
