1965 Ford F250
The F-series introduced by Ford in 1948 was an iconic vehicle that eventually became the highest selling vehicle world wide. The 4th generation spans from 1961 to 1966 and received several design changes including a lower/wider cab. They also made the bed sides, hood line, and window sills all the same height which is a look that even modern trucks have stuck with. This 1965 is the F250 3/4 ton heavy duty version which received a more rugged frame. The body is in great condition and coated in a nice Dark Blue pearl paint. All of the chrome work including the bumpers, grill, mirrors, emblems, light trim and even door handles are new. The rear bumper is custom diamond plate and has a connection port for your trailer plug in. The rear bed features wood planks that have been painted in a Dark Blue to match the body. This tall 4x4 rides on a custom Cepek wheels with Falken Wildpeak A/T tires (LT315/75R16). Underneath the rear is a drop down spare.
Turning those tires is a 1970 390ci V8 that was rebuilt approximately 2,500 miles ago. It runs great and has chrome valve covers, a black air cleaner and MSD ignition system. It sounds good too through custom dual exhaust that exits just in front of the rear tires. The 4 speed shifts smoothly and a new clutch has been installed. It is a 4 wheel drive vehicle with low/high modes and a granny gear.
Inside the cab it features a new bench seat with Black leather and lap belts. Being new, it is in excellent condition. It has nice Black carpeting and the shifter and 4WD controls are through the floor. The dash is painted Blue to match the exterior and a custom underdash area was made for additional aftermarket gauges. In front of the driver is the original style 3 spoke wheel with horn button, the speedometer and it even has an in dash Ritchie compass. On the center of the dash is a Majestic AM/FM/CD/MP3/USB/AUX stereo that sounds great.
This is a great looking pickup that you could easily use for hauling during the week and then hit the car shows on the weekend. Check it out while it is still available.
