This Swift 016.a is a Formula Atlantic race car that was acquired by the seller in 2020 and has since been used in SCCA competition with support from DD Autosports of Angleton, Texas. Finished in a white, blue, and black livery, the car is powered by a 2.3-liter Mazda/Cosworth inline-four linked to a Hewland five-speed sequential manual transaxle. The carbon-fiber monocoque chassis rides on a pushrod suspension with Multimatic DSSV four-way-adjustable coilovers, PFC brake calipers, and staggered-width 15″ BBS wheels. Equipment includes front and rear wings as well as an AiM steering wheel, a molded seat, a Schroth harness, a fire suppression system, and Tilton pedals. This Swift race car is now offered in Texas with spare parts, service records, and a bill of sale.
The 016.a features a carbon-fiber monocoque with removable fiberglass bodywork. This example wears a white, blue, and black livery, and details include a front wing, an acrylic windscreen, a roll hoop, a two-tier rear wing, dual side mirrors, and quick-jack lift points. The floor and left-front suspension components were repaired in 2024. Irregularities in the vinyl wrap and blemishes around the car are shown up close in the gallery below.
BBS 15” center-lock wheels are mounted with 23×9″ front and 24.5×13″ Hoosier W3 tires. The car rides on a pushrod suspension with Multimatic DSSV four-way-adjustable coilovers and Hyperco springs. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with PFC calipers all around.
A molded seat is fitted with a Schroth harness, and the cockpit also houses a fire suppression system and a Tilton pedal set. A camera is mounted atop the roll hoop.he naturally aspirated 2.3-liter Mazda MZR inline-four was tuned and built by Cosworth with a governed output of 300 horsepower. The valve cover and intake plenum are constructed from carbon fiber. The ECU was cleaned in preparation for the sale
. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Hewland five-speed sequential manual transaxle. The crown wheel and pinion bearings were replaced in October 2024.
The AiM steering wheel is mounted to a quick-release hub and has an integrated digital display, shifter paddles, and push-button controls. The side grips are wrapped with black friction tape.

The car is not legal for road use and carries no title or registration. It is being sold on a bill of sale.
