1965 Morris Mini Cooper S vintage race car project, left hand drive! This car was a SCCA and VARAC car with an SCCA and VARAC log books back to 1975 and up to the 2000’s. Includes the original registration card from 1965 when it was delivered to Canada. Still has the roll cage and a Restall type 3 fiberglass race seat. Body is what you might expect from a Canadian car, however some body parts to start the restoration are included. It is a Mk1 shell, that for some reason was cut for Mk2 taillights. The repair panels to return the lights to Mk1 specs are included, as well as the lights themselves. The hinge panels were in bad shape and removed when I was taking things apart. Powertrain is a freshly rebuilt Austin America 1275 block drilled for the 11 stud cooper S head. Rebuilt and crack tested AEG163 cylinder head. The gearbox is a newly rebuilt 4 scynchro 22G1128 box with Cooper S short ratio gear set, and Harvey Spicer drives. Includes a bunch of parts, including windscreens and rear windows, seats, new badges, 130mph Cooper S Speedo, and grill. The doors are in good shape. Includes an early set of externally adjustable Hi-lows, Moto-Lita style race wheel. One set of Minilite 10x6 wheels. The drivetrain is coming from FL by way of KY, but I can make arrangements with the guy bringing it. I no longer have the time, or soon the place to keep it. Worth the asking just for parts!!
