I have for sale a date correct 1966–1968 L35 396 Big Block Chevy, casting 3916323, rated at 350 HP from the factory. Cylinder heads are casting 3872702. This engine was removed from a 1968 Camaro and has been freshly rebuilt with street/strip upgrades while retaining its correct-era foundation.

Build highlights include a mild hydraulic roller street cam, roller rockers with pushrod guides, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and a new Summit 800 CFM vacuum-secondary carburetor. Ignition is handled by an MDS GM style HEI distributor for reliability and easy tuning.

This is a complete turnkey long block from air cleaner to oil pan including:
Alternator
Water pump
Power steering pump
Fan and pulleys

These L35 396 engines were factory installed in Camaro SS/RS, Chevelle SS, and Impala SS models, making this an excellent choice for a correct muscle car restoration, period style street machine, or weekend strip car.
