My 1999 Camaro SS has been extensively modified for performance on track or street. Below are the highlights of specs & mods:
Only 77,000 miles
Hugger Orange color was only available for the SS in 1999
5.7 Liter (350 cubic Inches) LS1 Engine. Thorsen's Racing Engines balanced & reworked heads etc. to produce over 400 HP & 500 ft.lbs of Torque. ( I have the build specs and dyno sheets) Less than 7000 miles since rebuild)
Tremec T-56 6-Speed Transmission with Koyo Master rebuild kit installed
Brakes have been upgraded to Corvette C-5 components: including slotted rotors, calipers & CarboTech pads. (Brakes are incredible)
Suspension has been transformed with nearly every performance option from UMI Performance. Including: Viking Adjustable Coil over shocks on all 4 corners. K-Frame, Sub-Frame Connectors, Upper & Lower Control Arms, Trans Mounted Torque Arm, Panhard Bar, Sway Bars & C5 Corvette brake conversion kit.
Wheels are from Corvette C5 Z06 with Nitto NT05 size 295/35/ZR18 all the way around for maximum cornering
Full Roll Cage & 5 Point Harnesses
Rearend is GM 10 bolt with 3.73 gears, Moser Engineering axels, bearings & Aluminum Cover
I have 2 files which contain numerous receipts & tech sheets including the original window sticker. The total of receipts exceeds $10,000 dollars.
I wrecked the car a few years ago and the insurance company totaled it. The title is Salvage, however I acquired a donor car and replaced & repainted the body. (Hugger Orange color was only available for the SS in 1999) So there is nothing left from the damaged car. All the drivetrain & performance parts were transferred over to the new body. All work was performed by an expert on Gen 4 Camaros.
