TKM Performance, this engine is designed for 2500+ HP on M1 fuel using twin turbos or a large billet single turbocharger setup.
This package is built on a brand-new Ford Predator block combined with an ultra-premium Winberg billet crankshaft and custom CNC-ported MMR Gen X Voodoo heads. Top-tier induction and exhaust parts have been added to complete the package. Every clearance, machine tolerance, and part number is pulled directly from the official TKM build sheets.
INDUCTION, FUEL & EXHAUST COMPONENTS
• Intake Manifold: Premium Hogan custom sheet metal intake manifold.
• Fuel Delivery: Heavy-duty MMR billet aluminum fuel rails.
• Throttle Body: High-flow Wilson 105mm throttle body.
• Exhaust Headers: Premium stainless steel turbo headers designed to handle extreme exhaust gas temperatures and high-boost environments.
LONG BLOCK OVERVIEW & SPECIALIZED MACHINE WORK
• Base Block: Brand new Ford Predator Cylinder Block (Part# KR3Z-6010B).
• Race Prep: Complete race prep and deburring process executed across the cam, main, and lifter bores, plus all surfaces and cylinder edges.
• Sleeves: Advanced Sleeve Ford 5.0 Coyote Sleeves installed (Part# AS-2033FA / AS-2032FA).
• Machining & Clearances: CNC bored to 3.655" and finished via Torque Plate Diamond Stone Hone to a final 3.660" bore. This establishes an exact 0.0035" piston-to-wall clearance.
• Stroker Prep: Intensive CNC and hand-stroker clearanced to ensure flawless counterweight and clearance movement for heavy-duty aluminum rods.
• Deck & Sealing: Finished to a final deck height of 8.9355". Block machined with Top Fuel Hoop Receivers (TFHR cut to z -0.030) for bulletproof high-boost sealing.
• Water Jacket Modifications: Block custom drilled and tapped on the CNC for water crossover lines, then meticulously finished by hand.
PREMIUM BOTTOM END COMPONENTS
• Crankshaft: Top-tier Winberg 3.650" stroke billet steel crankshaft. Features a double-keyed snout, welded reluctor wheel, and a custom-chamfered crank sprocket to clear the crank snout radius perfectly.
• Pistons: Wiseco Alpha Coyote Custom Pistons, 3.660" Bore (3.657" actual piston size) (Part# WIS-10455). Calculated piston-to-deck sits at a tight .0105" to .015" in the hole.
• Rings: Premium file-fit rings gapped to strict TKM racing parameters (.030" / .032" / .015").
• Rods: Ultra-strength R&R 5930 Ford Coyote aluminum rods with a .927 pin fit (Part# R&R-5930). Little ends have been machine cut for additional counterweight clearance.
• Balancing: Precision dynamically balanced to a 1716.4 bob weight, using 6 pieces of 1" Mallory heavy metal added to the counterweights.
• Bearings & Main Caps:
◦ Mains: Line honed to a perfect 2.8510" housing bore across all 5 journals using Clevite Coated H-Series Main Bearings (Part# MS-2292HX) for a precise .0028" clearance. Clamped down with an ARP Main Stud Kit (Part# 156-5803).
◦ Rods: Fitted with a custom split set of Clevite H-Series Rod Bearings (CB-1442HN standard upper / CB-1442HXN 0.001" undersize lower). Rod bearings are custom-drilled for dowels to guarantee zero bearing spin under maximum load. Rod side clearance is set to .025" with a bearing clearance of .0031".
CYLINDER HEADS & VALVETRAIN SPECIFICATIONS
• Cylinder Heads: MMR Gen X Voodoo Cylinder Heads, custom CNC ported by MMR.
• Head Machine Work: Upgraded to high-strength Ferrea bronze valve guides to safely handle extreme projected power levels. Features a precision 40-point Performance Valve Job (45-degree intake and exhaust seat angles) with excellent vacuum numbers. Throats are fully blended to the valve job.
• Head Sealing: CNC surfaced and cut with Top Fuel Hoop grooves (.055" deep). Sealed using 3.740 x .060 copper head gaskets (Part# FO-9481P) with Hylomar, and head gasket oil feeds safely opened to .250".
• Valves:
◦ Intake: Brand new Ferrea Ford Voodoo Comp Plus Intake Valves (1.51-in, 12-Degree Super-Flo, 3-Radial Groove) (Part# FER-F2405P).
◦ Exhaust: Premium Manley exhaust valves faced to a perfect 45 degrees. All 32 intake and exhaust valve tips refaced/tipped an average of .020" to set precise stem heights (Intake: 2.225" / Exhaust: 2.155").
• Springs & Retainers: Fitted with brand new PSI-1507 Beehive Viper/Coyote Valve Springs and Si Ti Titanium Retainers (Part# TR-22044). Spring heights check out at 117# @ 1.800" seat pressure and 308# @ 1.188" open pressure.
• Camshafts & Timing: Custom aftermarket turbo cams degreed to a 110 ICL (Intake Centerline) and 120 ECL (Exhaust Centerline). Lash preload and travel have been verified. Cams run stock GT350/500 followers and lifters that were sonic soaked prior to assembly.
• Timing Drive Mods: Equipped with premium RGR Gen-1 Cam Lockouts, RGR Gen-1 Sprocket Kit, and RGR Gen-1 Primary Billet Steel Round Upper/Primary Sprockets. Complete with brand-new secondary guides, tensioners, and chains.
