This car has been in my family for almost 20 years.
The Tempest was painted red about 10 years ago and the Pontiac motor only has a few runs since it was professionally built by Dutka motor sports. I have all the receipts of the motor build. It is a Pontiac 455 with a stroker eagle crank shaft and H-beam rods bringing the displacement to 472. It has 80psi of oil pressure cold with no leaks.
The motor is all new including bearings, pistons, cam, and 72cc edelbrock aluminum heads, All the bolts are ARP including the head studs. It has a 950cm Holley hp carburetor with a high rise single plane intake and 150 shot nitrous kit. The transmission is a reverse valve body long shaft turbo 400 that was recently serviced with a 3500 stall converter. The rear differential is made by strange engineering and has 4.10 gears with a spool.
The car has aerospace brakes all around with a line lock and a new master cylinder. It is a consistent low 10second car in the 1/4 mile at 131mph. The front fiberglass nose is removable as well as the hood.
The trunk lid is fiberglass as well as the rear bumper.
The car has 50 series flow master mufflers with down turns and will come with strait pipe extensions that can be bolted in place of the mufflers if desired. I will also include everything needed to make to car streetable including headlight assemblies and a turn signal switch with a wiring harness.
