For sale is an original pair of GM Big Block Chevy aluminum cylinder heads, casting #3919842, originally used on 1968–1969 Corvettes, Chevelles, Novas, and Camaros equipped with the L89 option, as well as Corvette L88 applications. These are the sought-after semi-closed chamber heads used on 1968 L88 and L89 engines (396 and 427) and on all 1969 396 engines, and they will also fit all Mark IV BBC engines from 1965–1976, making them an excellent choice for both restorations and performance builds. The heads have been professionally rebuilt, featuring hardened valve seats, new guides and seals, reconditioned valves, and new valve springs with hardened keepers, with spring pressures correctly set up for L88, L89, and LS6 solid lifter camshafts. The castings are exceptionally clean with no damaged stud bosses, which is rare for these heads. One combustion chamber was lightly cleaned up from a minor issue, and a pushrod hole and valve cover bolt hole were professionally repaired. Overall, this is a very high-quality, correct set that would be a perfect addition to an NCRS-level restoration or a period-correct big block build.
