1990 Honda CRX
We raced this car in Champcar for the last 10 years. It has been very good and reliable until the last race it ran.
- The engine met its end with a money shift an hour before the race finish
- Hood flew up in the beginning of the day, so the windshield needs replacing. The hood looks ok for what happened.
With a good motor this car was always fast and fighting for wins. Sad to see it go, but we are changing platforms.
The goods:
-B16 engine with Brian Crower valve train and ITR Cams (made 173 whp at 8500 RPM)
- Hondata S300 ECU with coil on plug kit(dash is a tablet that the ECU bluetooths to)
- Moroso over sized and baffled oil pan
- Hasport motor mounts

- Skunk2 short shifter (hybrid racing shift knob)
- Rebuilt with Synchrotech carbon synchros and hardened sleeves
- Raxle axles (this is a must for racing an old Honda)
-Suspension:
- Progress coilovers (550 ft/lbs spring on all four corners)
- Hardrace front upper control arms
- Poly bushings on all arms
- ACR 24mm Rear sway bar and brace
-Wilwood Front Calipers with Mini Cooper S Rotors
- pile of extra Reybestos ST43/ST45 Pads
- ITR Rear Calipers with 2002 Civic SI rotors
- Also have two sets of extra 1990 Integra Calipers and extra pads
-Brake feel is different between the two Calipers
- 1990 Integra front knuckles with new wheel bearing and ball joints

- MOMO XL seat (on sliders)
- G-Force belts(still in spec)
- Lifeline Fire system still in spec

- 6 point cage with Nascar bars(lots of driving space)
- Fuelsafe 15 gallon cell with a Holley hydromat (half gallon surge tank)
- Fuel cell is enclosed in Aluminum encloser per Champcar rules
