33 spline-Strange and Mosier
I bought a new 9" center with a 33 spline spool from Strange. I have 33 spline Mosier axles. Somebody at the track told me that the Mosier and Strange have differences in the 33 spline arrangement that make them non compatible. Is that true?

Some of them have a rounded spline and the others are flat spline i think the moser is flat and the strange is rounded can't remember for sure.

I've always heard to run same brand axle and spool.

They will fit in one another but there is a different pitch on the splines I just run into that same deal I have 40 spline strange axles and a mosier spool it was little tight goin together. I now have everthing strange, went together like butter. Apparently got to be manufacturer loyal!

Yes you have to tell Moser your running strange axles, they can accomdate the change,

Ya, thats what i thought. I think if i go any faster ill go with the 40.Anyway this car is more like pro street so the next step would prob. buy a top sportsman. Thank for the reply.

Different companies use different pressure angles on their axles and spools. I know that you already know that, but who knows if they ever decide to change them or not. A quick call to the people that made your spool would be FREE insurance. I'd just call them and then you'll have no worries.
